By referring to the “ York Herald ” of the 19th April last, my Friends and Cusâ€" tomers will note the following clause in my Advertisement of that date: “Accounts with The farming community will become due on the lst of October next.” Again, in the issue of the same journal, of the 26th September last, they were respectfully reminded of this arrangement. I need not say that scarcely the slightest attention has been paid to the above notices; Nevertheless, I once more present myself before my friends and beg leave to say that BUSINESS OF THE UTMOS'I‘ IMPORTANCE requires my presence in England early in 1862. As I shall remain there for an indefinite period ;and as several applications have been made for a lease of my shop here, I have come to the conclusion of winding up my business at Richmond Hill, in order to be able to leave Canada by the middle of March. Every Article usually required during At present I have on hand a very large supply of the following ‘ Teas : Young HySrn, Japanese, Souchong, O’olong, &c Sugars, “urrants, Raisins, Almonds, Candied Peels, Essences, Rice, Soap, Candles, Coal Oil, Lamps, &c. in any quantity, Port and Sherry Wines, in wood and bottle, Scotch Whiskey, London Porter, De Kuyper’s Gin in bottles, Canadian Whiskey, Toddy and Common, Salmon Trout in barrels, half barrels, and by retail, Split Labrador Herrings,â€"â€"finest caught, Round do Table Codfish, Lobsters, in cans, &c., &c., &c. All the above GOODS have been bought on the low It will be seen from the above that all outstanding accounts became due on the let October last, and consequently are now more than two months overdue. I would also state that I sincerely and cordially thank those who have hitherto supported and paid me so punctually.
