CANADA'S BURIED WEAIJTH.â€"Decp down in the earth, our country has stored thousands of natural fertilizers in the shape of Apati‘te or phospheric rock which when pulverized and chemically treated is converted into a valuable plant food, under the name of superphosphates. Remarkable results have been produced both on farm and garden by the judiéâ€" cious use of' ah0ve, with nitrate of soda; which materially advances early and robust growth. Ten ï¬years ago nitrate of Soda was a drug "on the Liverpool markets, but torday it with our Canadian phosphates ï¬nds enormous sale, and is sent to England in slupsloads. Uur farmers and gardeners here are new beâ€" ginning to awake to its gent value, and are using it with marked success, ï¬nd- ing that it pays.
