Accordingly the officers and men of the brigade number- ing about forty mustered together at the Fire Hall about 8 o’clock, tagged out in their new uniforms, and looking their very best, armed themselves with torches and proceeded to serenade the towns- people, headed by the band, by marchâ€" ing from one end of the village to the other. They certainly presented a fine spectacle and one which, without doubt. every citizen of the village feels proud. And well may they, for few are the towns, in fact cities. in our glorious Dominion that can produce as smart and' so well-trained a brigade as that of Richmond Hill. On their arrival at the Masonic Hall after the parade they were seated to- gether with :1 number of the prominent citizens around the convivial spread which had been provided by the ladies, who notwithstanding the short time they had to prepare, had on hand “ enough and to spare” of all the dain - ties to be wished for.
