Ezznrd, a driver of the Dominion Express Company, lost his life. Since the new time table came into force a part of the duty of the deceased‘was to run out from the city on the Montreal train and assist in transferring the express from the C. V. train, which arrives from the west at the same time. He arrived as usmil Thursday ni4ht, but attempted to jump off the train while passing the south platform on its way to the main line. and fell under the whet-ls, the last truck passing over his body. Death was instantaneous. The de- ceased is unmarried. and a resident of T0- ronto.
