The Lnngstafl' Literary and Debating Society has again commenced nperaiions by giving a free concert on the first. Mon- day in October, followed by another one on last Monday evening, besides several practical addresses from members and visitors. About twenty have joined the society for the season, with as many more in view. A debate will be given next Monday evening, which will be epecially Interesting to those anxious for the moral welfare of our country.
