Burker. of Orillin, Will be sorry to leam- of the sad death at their little daughter Flor- ence. four years of age. It appears that the child was in the Woodehecl alone, when the father hearing a strange noise ran out to ï¬nd that his little daughter was enveloped in flames. The ï¬re was quickly extinguished but not before the child was badly burned about the side, and one hand was severely burned. Mr. Barker’s hands were also very much burned in his endeavors to rescue the child from the flames. For a lime it was thought she would recover, but a few dnvs ego the news reached here that the little snfl'erer succumbed to her injuries.
