Trench who a few weeks’ agoreceived his degree as Bachelor of ‘ A1 ts has been most unfortunate in the line of accidents. 0n Dominion Day while playin lacrosse in Markham he had his left 1; umb broken by a. stroke from an opponent’s stick,.a.nd.again on Tuesday he met with a more serious accident by having his left leg fractured half way between the hip and knee. Accompanied by Master Frank Storey he was bringing from the railway station a load of waggon wheels in a one-horse democrat. Oom- ing down the ï¬rst 'hill east of the truck he was unable to control the horse over the newly turnpiked road. He was thrown out and some of the wheels fell on him fracturing his leg as stated above. He was brought home by some of the neighbors, and Dr. La‘ngstaflt' was at once sent for, who set and bandaged the injured limb, a very painful operation.
