The home of Minn-«ind Mrs. John Cooinbs of Maple, presented a lively appearance on Thanksgiving Day. The occasion was the reunion of the family. All but two of the members of the family were present. These included Mrs. Reamau of Severn Bridge; Mrs. Ough of Holland Landâ€" ing; Mrs. Kirby and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Cooinbs of Newmarket; Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Baker of Cari-ville ; and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Coomhs of Rich- mond Hill. There were .also present several grandchildren, one of them, Miss Alice Coonibs, represented the eldest branch of the family, Mr.Ashton B. (looinbs of Bracebridge. The gathering was an altogether pleasant one, especially as some of those pres- ent had not visited the old home for several years. The day’s programme consistedlof a splendid fowl dinner, and conversation and jokes. It might be remarked that during the conver- sation it was not always easy to de- termine who had the floor. ‘However, the meeting was never uproarious. and when it broke up in the evening all declared they had bad a. very pleasant time.
