Our citizens were again shocked last F1 iday by the stai-Llin news that Mr. Robert Siver, had die( at his home af- ter a few days’ illness. Deceased had fallen the pi'ei'ious Saturday on the edge of a Water trough and received in- juries which resulted in inflannnation causing his death. It was generally known in the village that he was suf- fering from the fall, but few outside the household knew that the injuries were so dangerous until it, was learned that he was gone. The funeral took Flace to the village cemetery the fol~ owing Monday. Before leaving the house a service was held by Revs. Wellwood, Large and Elliott when the sad procession proceeded to the place of interment. To the bereaved Widow and aged mother is extended the deepest sympathy, and friends and acquaintances alike deplore the un- timely d'eath of one who for many years had lived here.
