Many from this section were pleased to have :is their lecturer Mr. Leonard Klinck, son of Mr. T. Klinck of Victoria Square, and a former student at the Richmond Hill Hich School. This lecturer took his large and interested class over the various plots of land on the experimental farm and explained different kinds of grasses, 'wheat, barley, oats, roots, eta, showing why certain incthods give better results than others, the time to plant and the way to till the land. The instruction given could not fail to give inspira- tion to any intelligent faiiner. The ladies present had much to inte csl them, especially in the dairy depart- nLent. Much of the afternoon was spent in visiting the buildings, in- specting the stock, and ctting point- ers on every hand, and the principal places in the Royal City were also visited. The Methodist Sunday School held their annual picnic at \Vilcox Lake on Thursday afternoon last.
