Powers, D.D.G.M. of Toronto East District No. 11a.. and was marked by the number of distinguished brethren present, the large concourse of visitors. the excel- lent work done in the lodge room, (an initiation and a. second degree being conferred), the recherche banquet fur- nished by caterer W. Bro. Hill, and the intellectual feast which followed after the inner man had been fully satisfied. The work in the lodge room was done as only the W. M. and the officers of Richmond Lodge know how, and drew forth words of the highest commendation from'our own D.D.G.M. as We” as R. Wor. Bro. Francis, l).D.G.M. of Toronto West Dietric At the banquet. W. Bro. W. H. Legge. the VVorshipful Master of Richmond Lodge, presided, and as a toast muster he has few equals. “The. King and the. The. toast master then called on W. Bro. the Rev. A. P. Brace. who gave a very interesting. instruct- ive and truly Masonic address. Bro. the Rev. E. C. Gui rie upon being called gave a reading which was well received and Viciferously encoxed. The toast to the visitors was responded to on be- half of Rising Sun Lodge of Aurora 1) W. Bros. Filkins and Eli Braund. . Bros. \V. Riddle and R. Thompson re- plied on behalf of Patterson Lodge of Thornhill. and W. Bro. R. Rumble and Bro. McDonald on behalf of Vaughan Lodge of Maple.
