The thireenth annual flower show of the Richmond Hill Horticultural Society was held in the rink Satur- day last and was largely attended. The exhibits which were numerous were tastefully arranged and the offic- :rs and directors are to be congratuâ€" lated on the' success of the day. The display of flowers was somewhat larger than last year although fruits and vegetables were not so numer- ous. The exhibit of the Endean Nur- series attracted a good deal of attenâ€" tion as did the exhibit of H.B. The council of the Corporation of the Township of North York in- tends to construct as a Local Improveâ€" ment a steel bridge with concrete abutments, over the ravine on Addâ€" ington Avenue, and intends to spec- ially assess a part of the cost upon the land abutting directly on the work and upon the following land which is immediately benefited by the work. 2.
