Moffitt. of the staff of the local branch of the Imperial Bank has resigned his position and is leav- ing the service at the end of the year. His position here will be taken by Mr. Hillier, of Cottan, Ont. OTHENâ€"In Toronto on December 9, Harriet Deadman beloved wife of Daniel Othen, formerly of Carrville, Ont. Besides her husband she is sur- vived by five daughters and two sons. Mr. and Mrs. L.B. Finch and fam- 1y left on Monday for their new home in Toronto. Previous to their depar-- ture Mrs. Finch was presented with a leather Boston Bag by the United Church choir and was also the recipi- ent of presentations from other bran- ches of the church in which she took an active part. Anglican Christmas Tree The Sunday School Christmas Tree and Concert of St. Mary’s Church (C. of E.) will be held in the Masonic Hall, next Wednesday. Sun- day school children free. - Successful Sale The sale of Work and Play held in the Masonic Hall last Friday under the auspices of St. Mary’s W.A. of Richmond Hill, was a decided Success, especially as the day was very stormy. The baking and fancy goods were soon sold out. The play in the evening so kindly given by St. Leonards Dra- matic Club of Toronto, was well ren- dered to a most appreciative audience who were kept in laughter from be- gining to the end.
