JUNE 6th. 1929 Junior Farmers Judging ___ Competition Awards Announced Vaughan Townshipi Winne rs of Imperial Bank Cupâ€" Clarance Graham Won Senior Championship The annual live stock judging com- petition and household science judging competition held in the Richmond Hill district by the Junior Farmers of York County last Thursday were very successful. Keen interest was shown in all the contests by the young peopâ€" 1e and the competition was spirited. The competitions were in charge of R. E. White, district representative of the Ontario Department of Agricult- ure and to him and his energetic as- sistants must go much credit for the success of the event. In the evening following the judging a banquet was held in the Richmond Hill United Church when a. delightful program was carried out and the prize winners announced and the prizes awarded. Cash prizes were awarded in Junior and Senior Competitions for the boys. 36 boys competed. Silverware was donated to the girls in both Junior and Senior Competit- ions. 45 girls competed. According to our Rules and Regu- ' lations, only one cash prize and one challenge trophy is allowed each boy.
