Trowell, local hardware merchant and sporting enthusiast, will manage the intermediates this year, and if he can be prevailed upon to accept the post he would make an excellent man for the job. The cold weather of the past couple of weeks has inspired hockey enthus- iasts and steps have been taken to get teams organized. It is now as- sured that there will be a junior and an intermediate entry from Richmond Hill in. the Toronto Hockey League and according to those in charge both teams will be strong aggregations which will give a good account of themselves and it is predicted that Richmond Hill will this year rise to championship class in hockey. A practice for the Intermediates will be held in the arena to-morrow (Friday) evening at 8 p.m., when all players and all interested are asked to turn out. There is lots of good material available and the co-opera- tion of all players in the district is invited. Richmond Hill Will Have Two Teams In T.H.L MAPLE I am sure no one will want to miss this chance to obtain information about a. subject of so vital and gen- eral interest. Remember admission is He does nit suggest a new dogma creed' or party, but a plan of financ- ing the exchange of the products of all our labor which is designed to re- move a tremendous burden of interest charges from the taxpayer and make possible the sane expansion of indus- try and employment. It is a plan which can be adopted and put into practice by any government without any change in our social order. If successful it would benefit every man woman and child‘ in our country, and of the United Church Sunday School and as leader of the group I appeal to all citizens to be present. Per- sonally I have heard or read nothing in many years so arresting as the prospect opened up by the plan of financing- suggested by Mr. Hallat. In a thoughtful analysis of economic conditions Henry Ford has said that there is an awful fallacy somewhere. It seems to me that Mr. Hallat has discovered both the fallacy and the remedy. \ In this treasure hunt to locate the hidden treasure of Pros- perity, others have gotten warm, but Mr. Hallat has gotten ‘hot. Chairman. McLean and members of his committee are now soliciting funds to COVer the expense of the afâ€" fair and we trust that they will be given a generous reception. A lecture on the above subject is being given in Masonic Hall, Rich- m‘ond Hill, on Dec. 18th, at 8 p.m., by Mr. Harry Hallat, President of Den- nislon Brick and Tile 00., Windsor, and Author of The Wage Dollar Money System. Entertainment will be provided and everyone is invited to attend. The meeting is being sponsored by the Meteor Tuxis Group This is the big Community event oï¬ the Christmas season and each year has attracted a large crowd.
