The platform was artistically de- corate‘d in pink and white and the generous three-tiered “wedding cake” disclosed gift after gift. Assisting Ruth were Helen Hunter, Edith ‘Glas‘s, Marjorie McMurchy and Isaâ€" lbvel Forester. Rev. Mr. Davis acted as host and chairman for the pro- gram proceedings, previous to the gift display. Mr. and Mrs. J. G. McDonald and daughter from Aurora, and friends from Unionville were among the many present. The marriage of Ruth Baldlwin to Muir McDonald, formerly of Aurora, will unite two pioneer families of' King and Vaughan. The wedding is announced for May 18th in Laskay Church. The Lasvkay Hall might just as well be left as it is, decorated for such occasions. On June 4th Kettleby Baptist Ladies’ Aid will celebrate its Golden Jubilee at the church. St. John‘s new Parish Hall, Oak Ridiges, will be formally'openedi on May 2lst. Rev. R. C. Good, rector of Redeem- er Church, Toronto, will be the preacher at King Anglican Church on Sunday, May 12th at 11 a.m. D.S.T.
