P. and Mrs. Wilson have re- ceived word that their son Dr. John has been promoted from the rank of Flight Lieutenant to Squadron Lead- er. Congratulations John. Mr. and Mrs. L. Cardwell and son Bruce of Hamilton are hdlidaying this week with Mr. and Mrs. William Savage. He. J. J. Peters, son of Mrs. A. Peters, Yonge St., Richmond Hill, was welcomed home this week from overseas. Last week-end Mr. and Mrs. Roland Jackson and Nelson of Elmira, New York, visited with Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Smith and family. Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Atkinson and family of Ottawa are visiting rela- tives in the Village. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Homer and Doreen are enjoying their holidays in the Georgian Bay district. Mr. and Mrs.A. H. Vanderburg of Forest Hill Village were visitors with the Moodie family this week-end. Mr. and Mrs. James Pollard and Jimmie are holidaying in the Mus- koka district.
