Last Friday night before :1 11211n1~ full of spectators the {ichmond l’iil Midgets and Mike Miller's Maple 1:111, displaer one of the finest games of lacrosse witnessed in tbi< section this year. Fans were amazed at the >tit‘011 the younger boys displaycl throughout the game and several comments from the older lacrosse boys were very high in the brand of lacrosse played. The game was very even th11'111u‘h- out and ended in a tie score. ti .111. which indicates that both teams we on an even basis. Norm Stunden led the Hill in the scoiing end with his two fine goals. while single counters were registerâ€" ed by Red Gamble. Mack Clement. I’bil Stewalt and Gcrald Paris. The Maple boys were led in thcir sco1ing by three boys who have been playing with the Intermediate team during the early season. A1mitage with three. White tom and Jones a single. At. the present time no schedule is drawn up and the boys aic playing on a week to week basis. This does not prove satisfactory as the boys would like to have their games all- vertised ahead of time. The schedule is fast drawing to a close and few games remain and to make matters worse the majority of the games were to be played with the Richmond Hill squad which has dropped from competition.
