The annual lbale of clothing, and quilts, was valued at $188.95 to which was added a con- tribution of 10 blankets by Mrs. T. L. Williams. To Yorkville Girls’ Home were sent clothing supplies and canned fruits, etc. The sick and shut-ins have been remembered, and latterly Mrs. Larkin of Eversley who has been ill, as well as Mrs. J. S. Lawson and Miss J. Monkvman. Twen- ty-three active members comprise the workers, and during the year Mrs. Leonard Shropshire was made a life member of the society. Mrs. Armi- tage of Maple, a member who reâ€" turned from a visit to the west coast was present at the meeting as was Mrs. Jack Walsh, who will again re- side in King for the winter months.
