No further action can be taken by the High School Board until the legal preliminaries are completed. Purely routine matters yvere dealt with at the regular monthly meeting of the Richmond Hill High School Board held on Octobei' 6. The one exception was a showing of ï¬lms by a ï¬rm of architects, demonstrating various types of buildings which they have super- vised. The many friends of Mat will miss his familiar ï¬gure and cheery Irish brogue. Funeral services took place on Monday, Octobe 10, at Wright and Taylor Funeral Home and Mat was laid to rest in Richmond Hill cemetery. Born in Mullaghsline, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland in 1898, Matthew. Kyle came to Canada in 1919. Known affectionately as Mat, he arrived in Richmond Hill in 1921 and made his home on Hunt’s Lane opposite the Obser- vatory. A great lover of flowers Mat worked at Richmond Roses from 1921 till his illness six weeks ago.
