Williams, with whom they lived on Yonge Street. at Stop 18B, have taken an apart- ment in Toronto. Tuesday’s daily papers carried the story of the tragic accident and of the g‘ath of Mr. James Wood- ruf’f, a resident of Langstaff for the past six years. Words cannot express the shock and sorrow felt by the community nor the sym- pathy felt for Mrs. Woodrufl.’ and all the relatives. Visitors last Thursday in the Moorby home were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Davidson and Mrs. J. Mal- colm of Newmarket; also, on Fri- day, Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Shep- pard of Cedar Valley and Mr. and Mrs, Jack Bosworth of Sutton vis- ited in the Moorby home. ' Mrs. F. Bickmore and Mrs. E. Jones, both of Garden Avenue, are still making scrap-books for the Children’s Hospital and will be grateful for all the used Christ- mas cards they can get. It takes cut-outs from several hundred cards to make one book but these ladies feel that their time is Well spent when they see the children’s enjoyment at the hospital. Mrs. Jones and Mrs. J. Bond called on Mrs, Sproule last Friday evening. Mrs. Sproule left last Saturday evening for South Pasa- dena, California, where she will visit with her sister, Mrs. George Hurtt for some time.
