On Thursday the teachers of the Richvale School with the assistance of the mothers. gave the boys and girls of the Soft Ball and Hockey teams an outdoor supper party to mark the happy conclusion of their activities. The supper was served on tables set out under the trees on the grounds and the Rev. E. E. Kent of Thornhill, chairman of the Recre- ational- Committee asked .the Grace. After the repast Mr. Kent spoke to the teams on the value the less- ons in sportsmanship and stick-to- it-iveness they learned in their games would have in their after life and complimented the teachers for their hearty co-operation and the teams for the ï¬ne spirit they displayed in their games. Mr. Jackson Taylor endorsed M-r. Kent’s remarks and paid tribute to the great amount of eï¬'ort Mr. Kent had expended in organizing the inter-school games and arrang- ing séhedules. David attended Edgeley School for 3 years and was in grade 7.
