Death came suddenly to Don Whitson, age 20, of Broadway Ave. Toronto, on Wednesday evening, when his car went out of control at the Park andlrolled over. His left front wheel hit an embankment, causing the car to waver and then bounce, landing on the roof. He was taken to Western Hospital by am- bulance where he died of a frac- tured skull shortly after being ad- mitted. He was the only sen of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon J. Whiston. Funeral service was held Saturday aternoon with interment in Mount Pleasant cemetery. His friends in this community ex- tend sympathy at this time to his family in their bereavement. We also visited a. fish hatchery, especially that section which grades fish according to size. The fish came in from a closed lake into a series of large vats. The first vat they entered had'openings into a second vat which allowed all but tha largest fish to enter. The second vat had smaller openings than the first one through which all but the next largest size fish could swim. And so on. There were about six vats, the last one containing the smallest fish. The fish seemed very tame. Many of them lingered near the surface and only swam off when we reached to touch them.
