After a year of hard work the school is built, still with- out water, but we do hear that they have struck water at one hundred and fourteen feet. Our teachers and over two hundred children i l including Mrs. Weston, Mrs. Maguire, Mrs Gourlay and others organized a very ï¬ne tea and sale of homemade tion company, had met in Toronto with Mr. Frank Mitchell who has held up the work for weeks because he did not want a ditch on his property. They had reached an agreement and had it signed whereby the road could be proceed- ed with. Given a few days dry weather we can expect to see a big improvement in the road. We can only hope that the above is correct and that nothing further can delay this project.
