What kind of training would help people in your community t9 take a more active pat in com- munity affairs? The forum be- lieves the kind of training needed in our community is one in leader- ship, public speaking and co-Oper- ation. More training is needed in the home to teach all members 0f the family to have a sense of res- ponsibility to their community. From your knowledge of Folk Schools (including what you have learned from the broadcast and the Farm Forum Guide) do you think folk schools would ï¬ll a need in your community? We do consider a folk school an influence for good in the community but we do not have enough students at the pres- ent time to warrant one. Few people could stay away from their farms to attend one. Rather we suggest night classes for adults in public speaking, handicrafts, re- creation and hobbies.
