Born in Lount Township in 1912, he made his home in South River. As an elementary school teacher he taught in North Bay, Powasson, Trout Creek, Ancaster, Montreal, Webbwood, Norwich and Can'ville. Mr. Sohm has been ill and in the hospital since Christmas of this year and was moved to Sundridge the day of his death. The funeral services were held at the home of his sister Mrs. Stu- art and at Chalmers United Church in South River followed by inter- ment in the Eagle Lake Cemetery.
