The service at the Wright and Taylor Funeral Chapel was conducted by the Reverend J. O. Totten. The pallbearers were Fred Gray. Ralph Atkinson, Will Skilleter, James Pollard. Charles Mabley and Geofirey Nash. Born in Vanners, England, he was the son of Walter Wigmore and Mary Smith. He came to Canada at an early age and was a resident of Richmond Hill for almost fifty years. A carpenter by profession. he worked at his trade until he was taken ill and he was currently em- ployed by the H.- J. Mills Co. For many years Mr. and Mrs. Wigmore operated the Rustic Inn on Yonge Street where Mr. Wigmore also conducted a flower business. He continued his gardening hobby unâ€" til the time of his death. He was a quiet man who derived much pleasure from his family and his home and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Mr. Wigmore was predeceased by his wife, the former Winnifred Stong, who died-in 1945. Left to mourn his passing are his daughter. Lovica (Mrs. George Pollard), two sisters. Lillian and Gertrude, in England and two grandchildren. The community was saddened at the news of the death of James Ed- win Wigmore who passed away on August 16 in St. Michael’s Hospital as a result of the stroke he suffer- ed on Monday, August 11. He was in his 7lst year. Groomsman for his brother was Stanley Baker and the bride's at- tendant was Mrs. Stanley Baker. The reception was held at the Ba- ker‘s home in Aurora.
