Mrs. Thomp- son was in training with Lillian at Western Hospital, Toronto, and they had not seen each other for 21 years. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mansbridge accompanied by Carol have re- turned from a two week's holiday at Long Island, New York, where they visited their daughter Betty, Mrs. Bernard Boesel, and family. Miss Anne Stephenson. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Stephenson, returned home today after a very successful summer at the Banff School of Fine Arts, Banff, Alta. Anne sang Hayden’s Creation and understudied the soprano lead in the opera Martha presented by the school, and was also awarded a scholarship for further study next year.
