Mr. Davidson was born in Temperancevale, N.B., 39 years ago. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ellen Davidson and two bro- thers and one sister in New Brunswick. ‘ The funeral was held from the Thompson's Funeral Home Tue!- Mrs. B. Traynor. Mrs-B. Tay- lor and Mrs. W. Patcheson, all of Elmgrove Ave., were bereaved by the death of their cousin, J. Allan Rawn, Barrie, who was killed in a rear-end collision on Tuesday evening. October 20, at Barrie. Mr. and Mrs. B. Traynor, Mr. and Mrs. B. Taylor and Mrs. W. Pat- cheson attended the funeral which was held in Barrie on Fri- day, October 23. Dies of Heart Attack On Thursday evening. October 22, a car driven by J. Kelly with D. Traynor and A. Simons as pas- sengers was forced off the road at the Willow Beach Pavilion and over the end of the culvert. The front wheels were completely ripped off and the carrwas badly damaged. Mr. Simons suffered an injured nose when he hit the windshield. The other two men escaped with bruises. Killed In Accident The Lake Wilcox Bowling Lea- gue held its first evening’s bowl- ing on Friday. October 23. at the Richmond Hill Bowling Alley. Al- though the building is not‘fin- ished, the alleys are in excellent condition. The evening was de- voted to individual bowling but team competition will start next week. Two Fires The Aurora Fire Truck had two calls to the Lake on October 22. The first time a tree on Newman Ave. was on fire and the second time an oil stove at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Culverwell, South Road, became overheated.
