It was a beautiful day and there was a nice representation of lad- ies from the various churches who all seemed to enjoy their outing. Mission Band The children met Tuesday. May 25 at Vellore school for another Mission Band meeting. They are really working hard on stuffed dolls for hte bale. It seems that the current trend for a “pony's tail" is the most popular hairdo chosen for the dolls, although a few have bangs. Now it is the fringed skirt they want. The coloured wools they are workipg with are really creating artists and resigners formerly unknown. The recipients of the dolls won’t likely realize how much the chil- dren have enjoyed making them. Next Thursday, June 10. the W.M.S. ladies are entertaining ALL the Mission Band members at an early evening party at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church on the 7th Concession. The bale is to be packed and there will be games and refreshments. Any children attending without their mothers will be escorted to their homes after the party.
