Kirk reported on arrangements for the annual Church parade to be held on February 20 at Rich- mond Hill United Church, 7 p. m. There will be dedication of the Brownie pennant and the 2nd Richvale Guide Co. flags. The guides will also attend a first class test day in Richmond The staff and Richvale Home 'and School members thought parents would be interested to know that there will not be any attendance prizes given this year as so many of the children have been ill and missed school. Rich- vale boys were defeated in their hockey game on Monday. Lang~ staff being the victors with a score of 8-0. The boys had a good game and were all served hot chocolate and biscuits after- wards. Assisting her was the groom's mother. who wore a gray gabardine suit with bink accessories. PICKERING : Township Coun- cil plans to form its own Plan- ning Board in the near future. The new board will comprise eight members and the Reeve. A great many of the Richvale residents are under the impres- sion that the recent water supply has been located on the school grounds, however, the source of water is actually on school-own- ed property, which is Lot 169, on the north side of Spruce Ave.. adjacent to the creek and not at the school site. Maid-ofâ€"honour was Miss Hel- en Moffat who wore a waltz- length gown of mauve tulle and‘ carried a bouquet of yellow tea roses. carnations and Chrysan- themums. Bridesmaids were Miss Elizabeth Burns and Miss Nancy Mitchell who wore waltz length gowns of beige tulle and carried bouquets of yellow chry- santhemums, roses and daffodils.
