Mrs. Nellie Sutherland Passes Sympathy of the community is extended to the family of Mrs. Nellie Sutherland who passed away on Saturday, -March PICKERING : The township council meeting came to an abâ€" rupt adjournment last week, when members went to the aid of residents threatened by the rising waters of Duffin Creek. Only last Wednesday. Mrs Sutherland moved into the house on Don Mills Rd, recent- ly vacated by George Ferguson. She became seriously ill a few hours later and on Thursday morning, Mrs. Sutherland was removed to a nursing home, where she died Saturday mom- mg.
