All the married couples in the com- munity are invited to attend. Mission Band The Mission Band met in the Sunday School room on Satur- day afternoon with fourteen children and four adults present. The meeting was in charge of Carol Mortson. Prayer was giv- en by the leader Mrs. Rolph Boynton. Carol Mortson. Rand- allin Trussell, Sharon Boynton, Garry King, Margaret, Sheila and Norman Gee and Shirley Boynton took part in the pro- gramme. Mrs. P. Bennett told a story and took the Study Book. Mrs. R. Boynton also told a Bible story. Refreshments were served at the close of the meet- mg. Achievement Day / The Achievement Day for the Junior Homemakers of York County was held on Saturday at Newmarket. The Victoria Square group, of which Mrs. Allan Orr is the leader is called the “Sup- per Club.” Seven girls who com- pleted the course were, Carol Walker. Betty. Huston, Faye Nichols, Betty Snider, Audrey Gee, Betty Glover and Daphne Killingbeck. The girls displayed a super menu, with Betty Hus- ton doing the commenting.
