Crutcher of Thornhill, speak on “We Build A Bridge”. A wonderful pro- ject that is being carried out at Allenby School whereby the chil- dren of that school carry on a very active correspondence with a school in West Germany-ex- changing notes on their'respect- ive curriculum. Art work. folk songs etc, even using tape reâ€" cording to carry personal mes- sages and songs between the two schools. Mr. Crutcher. also ex- hibited some wonderful pictures taken in and around the town and school in Germany. There is no doubt that if this idea could take hold in all the schools of the world we would really have a chance of the world’understand- ing and co-operation in the fu- ture. The difference between each child is such a very minor ithing. Also on the program Mr. ‘R. DeWitt of Aurora exhibited l in conjunction with Mr. Crutcher, a very marvelous picture, of the iwork of the Junior Red Crossâ€" ‘this the children present thor- ioughly enjoyed as it provided a lvery potent link with their own efforts at school. Miss Sheila Henderson. Grade 5 student. played and sang “The Lord’s Prayer” very beautifully.
