TUrner 4-1432 Richmond“ Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hoey of Malvern entertained Lorraine and Murray Acreman for dinner on_Sun_glay evening. Some local damage‘was done by the very high wind of last Thursday. Among other freakish happenings, a large elm tree, which had been split in half by “Hurricane Hazel". was blown down athwart several cars and trucks on the Acreman place. giving a vivid demonstration of a similar accident in the north last year. No one was hurt, but the crash so nearly caught one man that he thinks he lost several years of his life; Parents who have registered their children for Kindegarten at Hendesan Ave. ScZ.ool and have not shown proof of age, are re- minded that this is a require- ment. Those folk who were present for the service in the Headford Church on Sunday. enjoyed very much the messags brought by Mr. Barrett. a layman from‘Torv onto. who took over while Mr.‘ Binnington was away. Our own minister was conducting anniv- ersary services at a small church near Uxbridge. where he served in his student days. Picnic Time Coming Friends and neighbours of Mr. N.
