The night previous they had spent with Mr. and Mrs. A1- lan Doner and Dale at Iloria, and had dinner on Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hawkins at Lagos, and breakfast on Monday with Willis's sister and husband in Montreal. Willis and Marian have spent a little over four years in Africa this last term, and are now home for a year's furlough. They had an excellent flight home. With all our mod- ern ways of travel, the contin- ents have become very near. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Brillinger and Mr. and Mrs. Peter Stockiey spent the week-end at the St. Lawrence Seaway and Ottawa. Mr. and Mrs. L. Climenhagc and Trevor of Stevensville spent Sunday with Mrs. W. B. Hender- son. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Liebeck and family of Stayner visited rel- atives here for the week-end. We welcome Mr. and Mrs. Peter Walker and children of Toronto who have moved back to the Kaarageorgis home for the summer. Victoria Square Sunday School Anniversary The annual Sunday School An- niversary was held on Sunday at 2.30 p.m., Rev. A. F. Binnington was in charge of the service with Mr. Rolph Boy ton, the Sunday School Supertindent assisting. Some of the fathers of the congâ€" regration composed the choir. Special music was given by four coloured children from north of Gormley, who were accompanied at the piano by their mother. Thcir singing was very much enjoyed by all. Rev. Binnington's sermon theme was, “Athletes for Christ" which was very inspir- ing to all. The children of the Sunday school and their teachers sat at the front of the church. Baby Band Party 8: Graduation The annual Baby Band Party will be held in the Sunda; School room on Saturday, June lZst, at 2 o'clock. Mrs. Agar of Keswick who is the Baby Band Secretary of York Presbyterial and our Mrs. Binnington will be the speakers. The W.M.S. members and the Mission Band are also invited to attend.
