. Richmond Hill Footbal ' Team Plans Schedule Calling all football fans! The Town of Richmond Hill ls to have its own football team this year. The Richmond Hill Football Club has entered in the Senior ‘A’ division of the Toronto Rugby Union. The team is run and coached by Bill Points who has spent many years both playing and coaching. When he coached the senior team at North- Western YMCA in the Kiâ€"Y league they won the cham- pionship each year he coached. , The Richmond Hill entry is the sixth in the T.R.U.- which consists of Lake Shore, Rosedale, East End, East York, North Western YMCA and Richmond Hill. As you may have guessed from the names this is the Ki-Y League under a new name. Games are to be played all over the city. Richmond Hill will play three home games and seven away. All the games except two will be played on Saturday af- ternoons. The one night game is to be played at Millen Stadium on October 21 with East End as the hosts. The team is fortunate in hav- ing the Recreation Committee of Richmond Hill to help them ob- tain a field and to help the team financially. Ed Butlin. Chairman of the Recreation Committee and Deputy-reeve Don Plaxton have hen most helpful in obtaining a field to play on’. The team will be sponsored by individual busi- ness‘ men who will contribute enough to buy each player part of his equipment. This team will be goodwill ambassadors for the town as well as [or each of the individual sponsors. The Richmond Hill Dynes and the New Toronto Sox have split the first two games they have played in the first series of the "Intermediate A" playdowns. The third game of the series was play- ed last night, Wednesday, in New Toronto. The first game was play.- ed here on Friday night and the second game was played at New Toronto Monday night. Friday.
