Sixteen members of the W.I. attended the tea held at the Royal York on Tuesday August 19th in honour of the Women’s Institutes taking part in the “Grandmother Quilt Block" project. Thirteen Institutes received prizes out of the sixty-one books which were completed. First going to West End WI, Guelph: 2nd West Fort William WI. and 3rd Elders Mills W.I., Woodbridge. No. 7 h‘larkham were given the new look by fresh coats of paint and new fluorescent lighting. In the Sen- ior Room new desks were install- ed and a new tiled floor laid. Misses Alma and Carole Steck- ley return this week to resume their ,studies at Messiah College, Grantham, Penna.
