Archie Nesbitt sang a solo. Craig Shields and John Nielsen 'had a crossword puzzle. Sally Manning read a story. Paul Win- ger and Brian Walker read some jokes. Mary Manning, Nancy Middleton and Brenda Bowstead sang. Mary Nielsen read a poem. Teddy Bowstead and Roddy Shields did some magic tricks. Gretta Middleton played the pi- ano. All the children sang “To A Lambkin.” On Friday afternoon, your cor- respondent arrived just in time to listen to the children’s music lesson given by Mr. Rigler, who puts a great deal of time and ef- fort into training the children to sing. The children decided to enter the Woodbrldge Music Fes- tival in May and chose “Going to the Fair" as the song they will slng_for their entry. Following the program the par- ents had an opportunity to talk to Mr. Green, who is keenly in- terested in the progress and welâ€" fare of each child. This week being education week, parents were Invited to come to the school and examine their children’s books and have an interview with the teacher, Mr. Green. Plans for the oyster supper at which the WA. wlll assist the young people were dlscus§ed. The meeting closed with a hymn and prayer. Then a tea was enjoyed with Mrs. Read, Mrs. Ness, Mrs. Wood and Mrs. Middleton assisting Mrs. Barton. School News Music hooks for the choir will be purchased. Mrs. J. Wllllams and Mrs. A.
