Feed- ing was the earliest training child- ren receive and Mrs. Gordon pointed out that from accepting the regular frequent feedings the child later learns to accept the three-meal-a day routine. If he does this in a pleasant family at- mosphere he also learns to accept the dictum of hand-washing be- fore meals and in other way); also learns to be a socially acceptable member of the family. This in turn leads to his becoming a hap- py member of society at large. 7 ,___ L- _-‘-A All Candidates Speak Allyn-nvw- -_ ,,_, y - v. _. It is the par- ents job to let him make his own decisions unless it is a case where the decision is beyond his ability. Here the parent steps in and as- sists him in his decisions. Learning to accept the conse« quences for his behaviour is an important lesson, Mrs. Gordon pointed, out, urging the parents to be consistent in their rulings so that the youngsters can depend on them, and thus feel secure. .“H --n-.| uu Lucm, am. ....... _-__ , Then followed a ï¬lm called “The Terrible Twos and the Trus- ting Threes.†showing the ad- vancement that is made in child- ren of that age in one short year of growing.
