This was a short meeting to finish up unfinished business and plans were made for some Christmas Social Service work. Entertains Guides On Tuesday evening the first Jefferson Guides held their Christmas party at the home of Mrs. Ivan Peterson. After an hour of games and dancing. San- ta arrived to distribute the gifts which each girl had brought. Presentations were then made to Mrs. Gray who had been their Brownie Leader. The Guides gift to Mrs. Gray was a lovely ster- ling silver‘ brooch and the Mo- ther’s Auxiliary presented her with a bouquet of flowers. The climax of the evening was the Rep-In to: Mr. and Mrs. David Jackson of Chicago are visiting Mr. and Mrs. E. Bay Jackson at Maraday Farms prior to going to Port Colbourne where they will spend Christmas with Mrs. Jackson’s pargnts Mr. {and Mrs. Hughes. The pupils from Jefferson school enjoyed an hour’s skating at Richmond Hill arena on Thurs- day afternoon. This is the third afternoon this season that the children have gone skating which is sponsored by the Jefferson School Community Club.
