They joined the Metro- politan Church in 1934 and have been an active unit there ever since. For most of these 26 years, the band played every Sunday ev- ening in the church and every Sunday afternoon in the church hall. In recent years. present-day business pressures and wide spread growth of the city forcing people to come long d'stances, have forced them to cut down on some of this activity.
