Karen and Owen MacKinnon are spending their holidays with their grandfather at Utterson. Mrs.’ Jefirey Campey accom- panied her two sisters for a week end near Southampton. Corporal and Mrs. Jack Mac- Beth of the RCAF in Rivers. Manitoba. visited Mr. and Mrs. Herb Moorby this week. Mrs. 'Jos. Wideman had the misfortune to have three fingers on his left hand broken on Fri- day while at work at the furniture factory in Elmira. He spent the week end in York County Hospi- tal, Newmarket but was able to come home on Sunday with his hand in a cast. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Empring- ham and James spent a long week end at Chesley Lake. Mrs. Metro Sudeyko took the mail on R. R. 1 Gormley on Saturday and Mon- day. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Little Leslie Richardson has been ill- with chicken-pox and Master John Ash had the meas- les. Mrs. R. G. Britnell and Mrs. Rose Britnell spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. Alex Inglis at Milton recently. They also visit- ed Mr. and Mrs. Don McIntosh and family at Galt. Friends are pleased to see Mr. George Barrett out for short walks and short car-rides again, after nearly seven weeks in bed from a heart attack. Mr. and Mrs. George Stacey and family spent last ,week at their cottage near Wgubgqshene. Miss Erma Reesor of St. Louis, Missouri, and Mr. and Mrs. E1- ton Bomberger of Harrisonburg. Va., have been visiting at the home of their uncle, Mr. Carl Reesor. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Garber of_ New Dundee spent several days with their cousins. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Reesor. Vacation Bible School is' con- tinuing this week at the United Missionary Church each morn- ing, and at Heise Hill Church each night. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Stickley are enjoying a trip to the Canadian West. Mr. Carl Reesor entertained his nieces and their families and his own family. at‘a picnic on Monday. The Martin" family of Spruce- wood Dr., are enjoying the week with relatives at Wiarton, where they went on Sunday. The D. Morrison family, of Sprucewood D12, embarked on a week-end camping trip to Sauble Falls, on the afternoon of Friday, July 22. Barry‘s Bay is where the Angel family of Clarke Ave., are holi- daying at their cottage for the current week. The Bresnehan family, of Clarke Ave., left on Friday, July 22, for a vacation at Skeleton Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Turner of Mor- gan Ave., left on Thursday, July 21, to visit relatives near Ottawa. They plan to return by the first of the month. The children have been left in care of their grand- mother. The Barbour family, of Hen- derson Ave., are leaving this week end for their annual two weeks at Wasaga Beach. The general store will again be operated by Mrs. Morrison of Sprucewood Drive. on a part time basis, as hours will be from 1 pm. to 79 pm. daily.
