The biggest International Big Five Meet ever to be held in Canada â€" will be held at Pine- crest Speedway (No. 7 Highway), this Saturday, October ‘5th, at This year it is planned to build 100 homes in the new sub- division and it is expecred that many of these will be electrically- heated, qualifying for gold med- allion standards, as the demand for this type of comfort living increases. Two all-electric homes are a- mong the model dwellings that Grandview Estates, as the name suggests, provides an exâ€" cellent view and overlooks the Don Valley. The site on the north side of Steeles Avenue between Yonge Street and Bayview Av~ enue was chosen by Schickendanz Bros., the builders of this new- est Bronze Medallion subdivision, because of its choice location close to transporta'ion and shopping centres, also schools and churches. Situated on rolling land, the Grandview Estates subd1visnon is being laid out in an imaginative manner. The builders have intro- duced seven basic designs of houses, varying from the two- storey to the split-level. to the bungalow style. Each design has at least two different fronts so that there is no similarity of houses, which eliminates any monotonous appearance.
