The first year away, she taught school at Aklavik, on the McKenzie River, the next year was spent teaching at Great Whale River on the east side Q1 Hudson Bay. ‘ On her return , as supply tea- cher, Miss Manuel'has delegated, entertained and enlightened the students and teachers with many colourful slides and stories of her adventures.
