The final policy will be such as to obviate any possibility of un- toward drainage, road and water problems. Some time ago council suggest- ed that the township's engineer- ing Department assume full re- sponsibility for all the engineer- ing for the installation of servi- ces. Recently the engineering heads reported that such a policy would present difficulties. Among other things. the Canadian Engin- eer-ing Association voiced the op- inion that such a policy would tend to give a township engin- eering department a monopoly on work which should be spread out among engineer personnel in gen- eral. In short, the association ob- jected to any tampering with the Toughen Engineering Requirements To Guard Subdivision Home-owners We welcome Mr. and Mrs. Gladman and two girls who have moved into the north part of Mr. Jos. The new policy means that in future no homeâ€"owner living in a new subdivision will be placed in a position where he or she will storm the battlements of the ad- ministrators with complaints. In effect council said: “Let it be known that our property owners are going to receive comp‘ot'a protection.†Experience has shown council that a stitch in time will indeed save nine.
