Thornh ill Notes is extended to newcomers who took a trip across the Channel to Boulogne for a day, then returned and drove to Rye in Sussex for a visit to Arundel Castle. Passing through Sel- pham, they happened upon the town of Thornhill, in the County Borough of Southampton. De- termined to spend at least a night in the English Thornhill, they asked a garage attendant there where they could get bed and board.
