Another future work project was the securing of orders to paint three houses. “Apple Day” efforts of the Cubs and Scouts in the King area, supervised by the Rover Crew, netted $150.00. lst Beverley Acres Scout Troop Excellent attendance again marked the meeting of the lst Beverley Acres Scout Troop on Tuesday night. Under the in- struction given by Scoutmaster Norm Foster, and A.S.M.’s Geo. Gray and Gordon Graham, the boys are really working hard to earn their St. John Ambul- ancel Badge in the next few weeks. Scouts Apple Day “Apple Day", staged by the Cubs and Scouts on Saturday. October let, proved to be a very successful effort, with ex- cellent weather conditions pre- vailing. Though final returns have yet to be tabulated, Mr. J. Hedman, publicity chairman of the York Summit District Scout Assoc- iation advises that the amount collected should total $600.00.
