Sorry we missed congratula- tions to Mr. Cline Burr, who celebrated his 92nd birthday on May 4. Mr. Burr has led a very quiet life recently, and the fam- ily celebration was a small one. The school nurse, Mrs. Hogan, from the York County Health Unit spoke on the Sabin oral vaccine now being given at the schools. She explained the area covered by York County stretching from Steeles Avenue to the edge of Lake Simcoe and spoke of‘ health problems in general. ‘ Mr Hammond from the St. John Ambulance Society spoke on water safety and demonstrat- ed mouth to mouth resuscita- tion on a lifelike model. Mr. P. J. Frander volunteered to be revived by the Holger-Nelson method. The girls' baseball team won their first game of the season dealing Charles Howiti a 27-14 defeat. Miss Hamilton.
