Thanks from the convenors go to some fifty of the public who were present and to those who contributed items of chl- na. clothing. jewelry, pickles and baked goods. These goods were spiritedly bid for - being auctioned off by three energet- ic and happy lady auctioneers - Mrs. June Dunlop, Mrs. Peg- gy Hemphill and Mrs. Cessle Riswick. Working in relays - this tire- less trio sold out just on 11.00 pm. - the total sum reaching the gratifying total of $65.00. The object of this fund raising project is to assist Queen's Scout Robin Derrick to attend the annual scout jamboree be- ing held in Greece this sum- mer. Due to the Easter holiday period, the 1st Auxiliary will not hold any meeting in April.
